About AFIN

Here at AFIN, we are a cryptocurrency with a conscience. We want to solve existing environmental problems by building novel solutions on our roadmap. We aim to tackle the impact of Bitcoin mining on the environment by utilizing pure renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and hydroelectric energy to mine Bitcoin, a collection of purposeful NFTs and an upcoming sustainability NFT game, Net Zero.

The Team

We’re a small but diverse, distributed team from different parts of the world that work synchronously together. We are a remote-first team. You can work from any location, but team meetings are mostly in Bangkok, Thailand (GMT+7) time zones.

The Role

As a Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will:


‍

• Be responsible for the development of AFIN’s marketing strategy catered to key regions with close collaboration with management
• Locate events for AFIN to attend as guests or presenters (block chain/crypto/sustainability/ renewable energy, podcasts to participate in)
• Follow up on Business Development leads for potential partners, sponsors and or investors) e.g. send investment package or e-brochures
• Develop marketing initiatives to grow the brand and create brand awareness (e.g. Content for TikTok or AMA sessions, podcasts)
• Determine and develop content catered for all social media channels (create social media content calendar)
• Develop campaigns to promote AFIN/Net Zero Game
• Accountable for all social media channels
• Develop and execute community engagement strategies
• Work closely with the community engagement team to ensure organic growth of the community (campaigns/ events/ rewards etc.)
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns with clear objective KPIs
• Experiment with campaign mechanisms
• Create, maintain, and strengthen relationships with AFIN community and stakeholders in the ecosystem for collaborations and positive brand positioning
• Work closely with Communications, Marketing, and Business Development
• Measure and reporte on the marketing campaigns and reward campaigns
• Create a clear and updated marketing execution plan and brand activation calendar
• Potentially become a candidate for a Chief Marketing Officer or Head of Business Development at AFIN

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in marketing roles
• Highly creative with experience in driving marketing execution and brand activation campaigns
• Demonstrate experience in handling corporate partners for strategic co-branded campaigns and collaborations together with the potential and attitude required to learn
• Must be passionate and display ownership and responsibility to see beginning to end
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in relationship building
• Solid knowledge of reward and loyalty programs
• English speaker with superb written and verbal communication skills
• Artistic, persuasive, and strategic communications skills
• Crypto, gaming, or fintech industry experience is a plus
